Creation Question Answered
by Admin ~ July 11th, 2009
Scientist tell us we humans evolved from apes. The bible says we along with the earth were created in just under a week. How as a Christian can you say the world was created in such a short period of time when all scientific evidence strongly point to the earth being millions of years old and we evolved from a species of ape?
Would love to hear your point of view.

ANSWER
Have in mind that there is scholarship on both sides of the Creation argument. No one knows the age of this Planet apart from the Creator. But the Bible confirms that the human race was created by God some 6000 years ago.
Many Christians accept that Divine order was created out of chaos in six 24 hour days. However, others believe that the six days are ‘God Days’ because time to God is relative. Creation was ‘all in a weeks’ work’ as far as God was concerned. God’s days are ‘flexidays.’
We should be aware of the many flaws in the evolution theory and the lack of real evidence. Darwin himself saw the absence of intermediate forms between species in the fossil record, but he expected these gaps to be filled. After 150 years of fossil gathering, the gaps are still there and many scientists admit that that the fossil record provides no evidence for evolution.
